Testimonials
“The LRC has strongly encouraged our student intern team to attend the All-U, meaning every year we are committed to sponsoring each and every one of them. We see this as an extension of their training while providing more of a retreat experience since it is an overnight program. This extended training and development experience has provided a foundation for a bonded team with lasting effects throughout the school year. The development it provides broadens their breadth and knowledge of how the campuses departments are intertwined and can work collaboratively throughout the academic year. “
“I truly enjoyed the speakers that came and spoke about their experience, especially the trailblazing women.
Also, I enjoyed connecting with our
faculty and hearing their visions for UCI.
Lastly, I learned about other sponsorship programs available on campus that I will share with my mentees.”
“COVP annually sponsors our student staff to attend the All-U. We consider it valuable extended training that connects our students with campus-wide leaders and builds community at the start of the academic year. The conference’s workshops, keynote speakers, and social activities contribute to our students’ personal and professional growth. By participating, our staff gains a broader perspective of the UCI community and develops connections with peers and staff, which we couldn’t achieve through our limited resources alone. “
